Follow-up to #33 / PR #34. Operator re-playtested after the gain bump (0.035→0.12) and reported: "the music is still too quiet. I had to raise the volume full up to hear anything. Maybe a separate slide along the sfx slide would be helpful."

So 0.12 is still too low at the operator's listening level, and they want direct control rather than PR-cycle tuning.

Deliverable (bundled)

  1. Audible default: raise the music level so it's clearly present out-of-box (target ~1× SFX peak).
  2. Music volume slider: a second slider in the audio HUD (next to the existing master/SFX slider) that scales the music bus independently, persisted to localStorage. Lets the operator (and players) self-tune without PR cycles — and dissolves the Herald-balance-vs-operator-level tension into per-listener control.

Bundled rather than split (Bosun offered either): the slider's default is the tune, the operator is AFK so the self-serve slider is the high-value piece, and bundling avoids two review+redeploy cycles for coupled changes.

Size: S. Lane: Shipwright (UI + audio).
