Phase 9 — v1.0.0 Definition-of-Done

ADR-0009 §3.3 Phase 9. Final gate before the public-shape stability commitment fires.

Gate: all items in ADR-0009 §4 hold:

  1. Substrate: shell scripts/ deleted from main; cmd/rt is the only entry point.
  2. Behavior: 30-file bats oracle runs green against Go binary via equivalence harness.
  3. Documentation: README + architecture docs current; ADR-0001 status flipped to superseded.
  4. Consumers: tmux-tell + ember cut at least one release through the Go rt binary successfully.
  5. Design invariants: #172, #336, #499 all hold.
  6. Prerelease cutting: alpha → beta → rc → v1.0.0 cadence worked in practice.

Discipline (§5): substrate-honest close (re-derive from main-at-cut-time, not merge-assumed); AC-retire-with-reason for any AC that doesn't cleanly close.

Out-of-band related: #338 (v1.0.0 SemVer stability contract) — philosophical commitment this phase serves; land as ADR or dedicated document before this phase closes.
